Every Texas Blazer gives back to the community.  Through organized projects, the Blazers make a lasting impact on the groups we serve.

Past Community Service:   Johnston High School Mentoring & Tutoring This is the primary community service effort of the Texas Blazers.  Learn more about our involvement with Johnston High School. East Austin House Painting Blazers Book Drive Each semester, the Blazers partner with "Books for Africa" to collect discarded books at the University Co-op.  These books are shipped to educational institutions and refugee camps in Africa.  All benefits support the Texas Blazers Scholarship Fund. Proactive Projects The Blazers prepare bagged lunches and deliver them to the hungry and homeless around Austin. Ride for the Roses Longhorn Halloween Settlement Home Project Reachout Citywide Hold-up Salvation Army Soup Kitchen Project 2006 Habitat for Humanity 40 Acres Frisbee Fling A frisbee-golf competition held each spring.  Learn more about Frisbee Fling.  All benefits support the Texas Blazers Scholarship Fund. Professional Luncheon Exposed Johnston High School students to potential careers through presentations by successful professionals.
